Rendering

In order for system to display POP, device or accessory planogram accurately it is recommended to upload fixture rendering (line drawing representing fixture) that is proportional to actual fixture. Fixture must be rendered using DPI calculation. Each inch must be multiplied by pixel count. You can use following pixel multipliers: 2,4,6,8,10,12,16,24,32. According to this formula 24" x 48" fixture can be drawn as either

Width (inches) Height (inches) DPI Width (Pixels) Height (Pixels)
24 48 2 48 96
24 48 4 72 144
24 48 6 144 288
24 48 8 192 384
24 48 10 240 480
24 48 12 288 576
24 48 16 384 768
24 48 24 576 1152
24 48 32 768 1536

Generally fixtures are rendered to fit screen without scrolling (800x660) if possible. Depending on the fixture design fixture might need to be rendered to have few different views (Front, Side, Pop...). If you have fixture rendered to show multiple sides you can convert this fixture to 3D view simply by defining view areas for each side.

Add 3D view to fixture

  • Click on Fixture in Library
  • Click on Views Tab
  • Click on - 3D button in Rendering Section
  • You will be taken to 3D builder page
  • Select side you want to define (Front, Right, Back, Left, Top, BottoM)
  • Box to define selected area will show on top left of the fixture
  • Drag and expand box over defined side area
  • Repeat process for all areas you need to define.
  • Click Save

Warning

  • Please note setting 3D views wotks only in Edge, Firefox and Chrome. Actual viewing of 3D works on IE 11, Edge, Chrome and Firefox

Note

  • If fixture have 3D views defined there will be 3D icon in fixture pop-up. Clicking on this icon will open fixture in 3D view and allow user to rotate fixture to see it from different sides.
