Create New Printing Specs
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click on the Printing Specs sub-tab.
- Click on New Specification.
- Enter the name of the process in the Process Name text field.
- Enter the Specification Name in the Name text field and a brief description of how this collateral element needs to be produced. This information is accessible to creative agencies and print vendors.
- Click on Save to submit changes.
Note
- You can add more than one Specification Name by clicking on the green Add + button.
- The Usage box is automatically populated by the system. It shows other collateral elements using the same specifications.
View / Change Collateral Specifications
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click on the Collateral sub-tab.
- Scroll to find the Collateral Type you are looking for.
- You can also use the search box located next to the New Collateral button. This is a dynamic search that will filter the results as you type. It will only search for the collateral name.
- Once you’ve found the collateral, click on the collateral name to view the specifications for the element.
- Make changes if necessary.
- Click on Cancel if no changes have been made.
- Click on Save to submit changes.
Note
- The usage table shows a list of collateral types using these specifications.
Upload Dieline
A dieline is used in graphic design as a placeholder for assisting in the proper layout of a document that will be diecut as part of the finishing process. It is usually placed into the graphic's computer file as a separate layer for sizing and orientation purposes. A dieline is usually not printed on the final piece but is used to determine correct layout.

Dielines are traditionally used when designing:
- Envelopes
- Pocket folders
- Packaging
- Signs with specific shape
To upload dileine to your specs:
- Scroll to Dieline section
- Click on Browse and find file to upload
- Click Upload (wait for file to show in a list)
- Place checkmark in front of the dielines you want to made available for download
- Click Save
Note
- You can upload multiple dielines to specifications
- Print Vendor and Creative Agency can see specs and download selected dielines
